William Douglas School

William Douglas School

Construction on the school was done in 1924-1952 and 1960. Behind the school where the playground was, the original St. Andrews Church was built. There was a rock commerating where the church building stood. Does anyone remember this rock or if it’s still there? In 1983 there were meetings about turning the school into a community center for the Over 60 club, the Visiting Nurses and other activities. Did this ever happen?
